Saturday, January 13, 2007 Dublin, Georgia
The Pops kicks off their 2007 season with a return to Dublin, Georgia for a concert at Theatre Dublin on Saturday, January 13th. This concert will feature the outstanding violinist Bobby Yang performing two popular pieces with the orchestra. The 7:30 pm program will be the fourth appearance by the Atlanta Pops in Dublin, Georgia.

Thursday, September 13, 2007, East Georgia College, Swainsboro, Georgia
The Pops makes it's second appearance at East Georgia College with two concerts on campus in the Gambrell building auditorium. There will be a morning concert at 11:00 am and an evening show of 2 hours at 7:00 pm. Both concerts will feature the dynamic rock violinist Bobby Yang who will be making his second appearance with The Pops. He is a rising star nationally in his unique genre. Bobby will feature his trio, The Unrivaled Players, and will play his arrangements of music by Queen, Led Zeppelin, Rush and others accompanied by The Atlanta Pops. The Pops will play music of Rossini, Kaempfert and Stravinsky.

Saturday, December 1, 2007, Cartersville, Georgia
The Atlanta Pops plays their annual Christmas concert at The Grand Theater in Cartersville, Georgia. This concert will feature the flute and harp duet Gentle Rain. The concert will be at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 1st. Tickets may be purchased by calling 770-607-3686. This concert will be conducted by Pops Music Director John Head.

Friday, December 7, 2007, Cedartown, Georgia
This will be the Pops debut appearance at the Civic Auditorium. The Cedartown concert series is one of the finest in Georgia and The Atlanta Pops is looking forward to performing its' Christmas show for their appreciative and dedicated audience. We will do an Appalachian and Celtic Christmas with music from both genres featured on the program and including Rich Jones and Christine Drescher of the Gentle Rain Duet.

Saturday, December 8, 2007, Southeast Technical College
The Pops will travel to the Toombs Auditorium on the campus of Southeast Technical College for a 7:30 presentation of our Christmas show. We will again feature the Gentle Rain Duet plus music of the season and other special arrangements of Appalachian and Celtic seasonal music.

2008

Saturday, January 13, 2008, Dublin, Georgia
The Pops will make its' 5th appearance on the Dublin-Laurens Arts Council Concert Series. Last years concert featuring Bobby Yang was a smash hit and is still being talked about by the Dublin concert goers. The concert will be at 7:30 pm at Theatre Dublin, one of the best movie theater restorations in Georgia and dedicated to the performing arts. This is always a highlight of The Atlanta Pops season.

2004

The archive of 2004 concerts can be viewed here. The highlight of the year was the Pops tour of Taiwan (see below).

March 28 - April 18, 2004 Taiwan Tour
The Atlanta Pops Orchestra successfully made it's first international tour in it's 50 year history this Spring with a 16 concert tour of the major cities of Taiwan, including Taipei, Khaoshung, Taichung and Tainan. John Head conducted and 3 concerts on the tour featured Craig Shulman, longtime performer in Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway. The Pops program was "America the Beautiful" a musical portrait of our diverse country.
